I didn't graduate from GSS as my family move to FL in 1965; however, some of my fondest memories of school and friends are from the great years at GSS.

My GSS years were well spent and I only have fond memories of all the teachers and nuns - particularly Sr. Kathleen's Math class. I sometimes get back to Marine Park and its always great to check out GSC.

The 8 years i spent going to school at Good Shepherd were some of the best years of being a kid--The GSS sports program was a big part--I played softball, basketball & volley ball--Packing 6 or 7 girls into a dads' car(before seat belt laws) to get to a game--All the old teachers, Mr. Subrizi, Sister Carol, Mrs. Victor, Miss Coty, Miss Gannon, Mr Davis, Sister Geraldine and of course the nun whose catch phrase ''and of course you get a big fat goose egg'' Sister Kathleen who drilled math into us--The 3 principals that were there, Sister Johnese(that kept a paddle in her office), Sister Jean Baptist And Sister Honora-And who can remember
Father Fox,Father Dolan,Father Brennan, Father Corrado and Msgr Dawson--I can't go on for the list would be too long--I am still a member of GSS Parish--Its still the best

I think my fellow classmate, Edward Monti said it all. I would just add Sr. Carol to the list and further state how good a math teacher Sr. Kathleen was. God Bless!
